Katy Rowe, who teaches violin at the school popped in to year two to tell everyone all about learning and instrument and playing the violin.  She played lots of contrasting pieces and asked the children to close their eyes to listen to the music.  One piece was quiet and calm and the next was frantic, fast and funny.

Katy teaches violin at TMS along with Will and Doug who teach guitar, Will also teaches drums and Jill teaches the piano.  If your child is interested in having lessons from September on any of these (or a different) instrument please ask at the office for details.

Subsidies are available (which reduces the lesson fee) and each teacher will be able to explain and give details.
