Where learning is fuelled by creativity

week beginning 10.6.19

14th June 2019 in Early Years, Uncategorized

Another very busy week draws to a close.

We had a fabulous clapping and singing workshop on Monday.

We have been working really hard on our beautiful art work for the art exhibition which starts on Monday 24th June. We are learning about an artist called Kandinsky. We have already created some gorgeous concentric circle art and we have painted to music. You are in forĀ  treat in the Exhibition.

Today has been super-Sporty for Soccer Aid. We have been challenging ourselves with all kinds of tricky obstacle courses, and really showed off our skills, and at the same time raising lots of money for a very worthy charity. Please feel free to send your sponsorship and donations to school as soon as possible.

We harvested our potatoes this week and we ate them too – yum!

Feel free to join in our current challenge at home – we have been investigating which numbers have a half and so the children are practising remembering maths facts like, “half of 4 is 2”, “half of 10 is 5!

Hope you have a lovely weekend.
