World Book Day 2024 has been a great opportunity to further inspire our love of reading here at TMS! This year the focus was on vocabulary and everyone was invited to dress up as their favourite word. As you can see from the photos, there were lots of amazing ideas across the school! Learning during the day was focused on class readers, asking questions about reading choices (see our staff videos to find out about theirs!), designing book tokens and book marks, preparing questions in KS2 for the upcoming zoom call with author Tom Palmer, and appreciating our Reading Rivers displays! A great day was had by all.
