Throughout this term, year 4 have been studying the Indus Valley script and the seals they made to show the value of things. In art we have explored the ways they may have made these seals and what the different artworks on them may have meant.
On Thursday, we created clay pottery using the slip and score method to hold the pot together and then work our own seals on them in the style of the Indus Valley. All of them have turned out amazingly!! Here are some of the children in action and some of the finished pots…
