A thrilling match winning 2-1 – the newly formed Year 5 team played brilliantly

The players that we took to Mount Hawke were Jack, Charlie Bignell, Callum Stevens, Joseph, Jared, Mali, Jowan and Eze. Miss Andrew was training Charlie Bignell on his goalie skills whilst everybody else was warming up. After we warmed up, after Miss Andrew told us our position then Charlie B was chosen to be captain. Next Charlie and the captain of the other team did rock, paper, scissors to decide who got kick-off, Charlie won so we got kick-off.

In the first couple of minutes, Jowan crossed the ball to Callum and he scored with his knee. Then Jowan ran through the goalie and scored bottom right. After that, it was half time.

In the second half, sadly Mount Hawke scored but then no one scored, so the final score was 2-1. We were so excited that we won and cannot wait for our next match.
