Year 6 were lucky enough to visit Richard Lander today to get an experience of learning modern foreign languages at secondary school. Richard Lander sent their mini-buses down to transport us up through the driving rain and storms, which meant we remained dry and warm. We then split into three groups, with some learning French and some learning Spanish, through a sample lesson and some games. It was a great opportunity to get some experience of what secondary school might be like , and the children came away really enthusiastic about learning a language next year.
