Where learning is fuelled by creativity

Y6 – FINAL ASSEMBLY: being part of something really special!

22nd July 2025 in Year 6

And it was time to say goodbye to the most spirited, creative, funny, hard working, determined, resilient, kind and lovable cohort … Wherever the journey takes you next, you all have the power to succeed!

Be proud.

Be brave.

Be true to yourself

and be kind.

You are all ready to be part of something bigger than TMS … and be brilliant!

Poem – by Mrs Ewart

We started this journey together, you see,

Back when you were little, as new as could be.

I was just starting, and so were you—

With backpacks too big and one wobbly shoe!

In Year 2, what a memory we made,

Sleeping with sharks as the ocean swayed.

Some of you giggled, some barely slept,

But the magic was real, and the moment was kept.

Friday afternoons brought a special cheer,

Pokémon Club was the highlight of the year!

Battles and trading, cards held tight,

Pikachu power and Charizard might!

I’ve watched you grow, through joy and tears,

Through learning, play, and growing years.

You’ve shown such courage, heart, and grace,

And always a smile on your lovely face.

But here’s a truth I want you to know:

You helped me learn and helped me grow

You’ve taught me that progress comes many ways,

In tiny triumphs and quiet praise.

This year you soared to London town,

With Big Ben’s chimes and sights all around.

You rode the Eye, saw the skies so wide,

And sang with Simba and friends by your side.

From little steps to leaping far,

You’ve each become a shining star.

You’ve learned, you’ve laughed, you’ve shown your spark,

And left your footprints on my heart.

Though you may go to places new,

I’ll always be proud—so proud—of you.

Keep being kind, keep reaching high,

There’s no limit—just the sky.

So here’s to the dreamers, the doers, the crew—

We started together, and I’ll never forget.

Step forward with courage, stay kind and stay true,

The world shines a little brighter, all thanks to you.
