Year 1 children have had a very exciting afternoon visiting Truro as part of their geography fieldwork learning! We were answering the enquiry question “Why do people choose to visit Cornwall?“, with a specific focus on what Truro has to offer for tourists. We put our fieldwork skills to good use, by identifying human and physical features. We had great fun looking at what shows are on in The Hall for Cornwall and what films are on in the cinema. We also looked at how many shops and cafes there are, and enjoyed admiring the beautiful architecture of the cathedral. Thank you to all of the adults who made this trip possible, and thank you to the children for their wonderful enthusiasm!
