Year 1 had a fabulous adventure at Newquay Zoo, bursting with excitement from the moment they arrived. They were mesmerised by the animals — the fluffy red panda snoozing in the trees, the cheeky meerkats on lookout duty, slithering snakes, and the lively lemurs leaping about. A highlight of the day was watching the penguins being fed — a splashy, wiggly, joyful spectacle. Despite the hot weather, everyone coped brilliantly and a brief, refreshing rain shower swooped in at just the right moment to cool everyone down!

It was a day packed with wonder, laughter, and memories that will stick with us all for a long time.
