In year 3 the children have been busy in science learning about plants. Conditions for growth, seed dispersal, pollination and transportation of water are a few areas of learning. The children have been making predictions, conducting investigations and writing conclusions.

We have also been investigating the way that seeds are distributed by plants. The children conducted an investigation to find out the most effective sized wing for a sycamore seed style seed. The results surprised us all!
