Year 2 and Year 3 had a wonderful time on Tuesday baking scones with James and his fantastic team from Cornish Hospitality. The children spent the day measuring, mixing, weighing, and rubbing in butter to create the most delicious treats. Year 3 baked some brilliant plain scones, while Year 2 experimented with exciting flavour combinations linked to their DT learning this term. The room was filled with fun, laughter, and excellent teamwork as pupils took turns to contribute and create something really special.
A huge thank you to James and his team for giving us such memorable experiences, and to Heidi and the kitchen team for baking all our scones while also preparing lunches for the whole school!
