Where learning is fuelled by creativity

Year 4 Art

7th February 2019 in Creative, Year 4
Year 4 have been busy researching and learning about the Chinese Terracotta Army and Willow pattern plates as part of our art unit.    If you are lucky enough to go to the Great Wall of China why don’t you take a look at the wonderful Terracotta Army statues which are being well looked after since being discovered in 1974 by farmers digger a water well.
Even though Willow Patterned plates were made in England, they were inspired by the Chinese.  Do you have any willow patterned plates at home?  See if the children can re tell the legend of the pictures.
