The children in Carn Brea and Black Rock have been making Rocky Road to discover the changes of state that occur.  The children enjoyed melting the chocolate and also discussed how the marshmallows and jelly beans would be affected when they were mixed with the heat from the melted chocolate.  Everyone also enjoyed eating the result!

The children in Year 4 used the timeline in school to discover when the Ancient Civilisations (Ancient Egypt, Ancient Sumer, Indus Valley and Shang Dynasty) were in relationship to each other.They also considered the other events that were happening at that time.
