This week the children in Year 4 have been learning about ‘What does it mean to be a Hindu in Britain today’. We have discussed our own morning routines and also the Hindu routine of Puja.
The children had a picture of a Hindu family at a shrine and in their group, they had to take turns to quickly look at the picture and then recreate it. You can see some of their attempts below! We then talked about the purpose and meaning of the items on the shrine, including what was a murti. The children are really enjoying learning about the Hindu religion.
