Year 4 have been learning about Sukkot. It is a Jewish festival and is a special time when families reflect and remember the time when Moses led his people out of Egypt and wondered the desert for forty years. The children had a fabulous day learning all about the Torah and this festival and had great fun making their own Sukkah in the playground. It was wonderful to see so many children and parents sharing in with this learning after school.
Rev’d Jeremy then came to visit us to help the children to learn about the importance of the Ten Commandments to people of the Jewish faith as well as their significance to other religions.
