Today, the year 5 and 6 girls went to a football tournament at Truro High School. The morning was made up of 3 pools with 5 teams in each pool, meaning that we played 4 games.

TMS v St Day 2-0 win
TMS v Kennell Vale School 0-2 loss
TMS v Cusgarne 0-0 draw
TMS v Marlborough 2-0 win

As we were in the top 4, we went through to the next round in the afternoon to play for the gold cup in a knock out round. We played Cusgarne first and drew 0-0  – this meant that it went to penalties, which we won (with excellent performances from both keepers)!

In the final, we played against Kennell Vale School and lost 1-0 in the very last minute of the game.

The girls and I were still very excited to bring home the silver medals.
