On Wednesday afternoon, the children in Year 5 had the opportunity to be taken on an exclusive tour (via Zoom) around the Nation Marine Aquarium in Plymouth. Throughout the tour, children were immersed into marine life and were able to see an abundance of fish and sea creatures as they swam around live in front of our screens. The informative guide at the aquarium explained to our year 5s about marine habitats, animal adaptations, feeding techniques, species ID and classification of marine animals. Year 5s had oceans of inquisitive questions for our guide and many had the opportunity to share some of their own facts and previous knowledge. It was a great experience in all and a big thank you to the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth for our guided tour.
