Year 6 have been busy with their final preparations for SATs this week, making sure to balance revision with plenty of fun learning. In science, they investigated how the time of day affects the size of a shadow, carrying out a hands‑on experiment that sparked lots of curiosity. We were also joined by students from Truro College, who led an energetic rounders session that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. To top it off, the class took part in an arithmetic treasure hunt—an activity so popular that one child declared it “the best maths lesson ever!
