Where learning is fuelled by creativity

Looking for something to read?

2nd August 2023 in English

In this dreary summer weather, it is the perfect opportunity to get stuck into a book … or 6! We hope that lots of you have already committed to the summer reading challenge, and if not, it isn’t too late!

We are only too happy to advise you on a few books šŸ™‚

From September, our author focus is going to work a little differently – we are instead aiming to have an Author of the Half-Term to allow us a little more time to get to know these authors, share their stories and build excitement and enjoyment!

Over the course of the Autumn Term, we will share stories from two well known and mesmerising authors – Michael Morpurgo and Malorie Blackman. We wanted to share this information with you a little earlier than normal so you can begin to enjoy these authors and their stories over the summer holidays!
Both authors write for childrenĀ of varying ages on thought-provoking subjects, make sure you read the blurb of any book carefully to ensure it’s appropriateĀ for your age!
